RSM Newsletter Issue #2,  November 2008
Greetings from all of us at RSM!

 Dear Parents!

I hope this newsletter finds you all in a good health and pre-holiday spirit. It's hard to believe, but only four classes of our first term remain and we are getting ready for our first report cards.

I am delighted to report that this year more than 1400 students are enrolled in RSM classes. I am proud that with an enrollment like this we are still maintaining small class sizes, a very warm atmosphere and close contact with our students and their families. But most importantly, our famous teaching style and methodology are consistently getting better.

This year we have added monthly teacher's seminars and discussion groups. Teachers began to attend each other's classes more often to share different techniques. Here at RSM we truly believe in constantly moving ahead and we understand that there is no limit to excellence.

For all these years we have been working hard to achieve exceptional results on Johns Hopkins, AMC-8 and AMC-10, SAT, SAT II and AP to enhance our graduates' chances for admission to the best colleges. We not only met our goal - we did more than that. All of our alumni tell us that they are better prepared for college than their peers. We give them not only the knowledge of mathematics, but also the skills to learn any subject. We make them better students overall by using math as a tool.

As always, I would like to thank all of you for trusting us with your children and for referring us to your friends. Every day I talk to new people who have heard about us. They repeat your kind words about us, giving me your names. I only wish I could thank each of you personally!

Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. My email is Principal@russianschool.com,  or you can call the school at 617-332-8243. My office hours are: Monday - Thursday 1:00pm-3:30pm and Sunday 1:00pm-6:00pm.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Yours truly,
Inessa Rifkin,  RSM Principal
