About RSM-Acton
RSM-Acton is one of the first Greater Boston branches of the Russian School of Mathematics. Since its inception in the fall of 2008, we have experienced a phenomenal growth from zero to over 400 students. Almost 100% of our students came by “word of mouth” from our satisfied customers. With over 80 classes in the offering, we provide 3 academic levels at each grade for students K-12. We bring together the best of both worlds: a warm “family” atmosphere and the ability to meet the needs of every student. As a branch of the Russian School of Mathematics, an award-winning after-school math enrichment program, we provide a top-quality world-class math education with an emphasis on problem solving skills and critical thinking. We successfully prepare our students for the SAT-I, ACT, SAT-II (Level 1 & 2) standardized tests and offer two college-credited courses: Calculus AP AB/BC (for last 3 years) and Java Programming AP (new this year). Additionally, we now offer SAT-I English Reading/Writing Preparation Workshop and Chess Challenge Program (new this year). We are proud of our achievements last year: RSM-Acton’s pre-Calculus students have achieved a remarkable result: 790 out of 800 (average) in the SAT-II Level 2 test; our Calculus AP students scored a 5 or 4 on the BC exam, a score of our students were among the National and Massachusetts winners in the 2011 Math Kangaroo Olympiad. We are conveniently located at the heart of Acton on Main Street (Route 27N), between the Acton Memorial Library and the Central Post Office - and easily accessible from Routes 2, 27, 111, 495. Our luxurious building has a lot of classroom and hall space, plenty of parking, a safe playground area, and complimentary wireless internet access. Our branch serves over 20 Greater Boston communities including Acton, Westford, Littleton, Concord, Carlisle, Boxborough, Harvard, Ayer, Maynard, Stow, Lincoln, Bedford, Burlington, Groton, Bolton, Shirley, Chelmsford, Pepperell, Billerica, Lowell, and Tewksbury. Free Math EvaluationPlease call us at (978) 266-1776 to discuss the appropriate placement for your child. Do you have friends who may be interested in enriching their children at RSM-Acton? Please let them know that we offer Free Evaluations (as well as a referral fee for our existing customers)! The results are in! This year, 153 students took the AMC 8 test and 65 students took the CTY test at Johns Hopkins University. Take look at the RSM Results page. - 115 AMC 8 Certificates were awarded to RSM Students, 18 students placed in the top 1% nationwide!
