People who do not associate the word ‘fun’ with ‘math’ rob themselves of an exciting world of math games, math thoughts and math view of life....
RSM-Andover opened in 2010 in response to the growing demand for after-school math enrichment from families throughout northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
As a branch of the Russian School of Mathematics, we combine a great math curriculum with well-structured teaching strategy to help our K-12 students build a solid foundation in mathematics and develop lifelong critical-thinking skills.
In addition to offering math classes at all levels, we also provide English SAT and Chess classes.
Today RSM-Andover serves the families of more than 500 private and public school children from Andover, Reading, Lynnfield, Windham, Haverhill, Wilmington, Methuen, Middleton, Tewksbury, Melrose, Woburn, Salem and Nashua.
About the Principal
Education: M.S., Mathematics, Lomonosov Moscow State University
Anna Parfenov joined RSM in September 2008, after 15 years of teaching math at all levels. As a teacher at the Advanced Math and Science Academy, she was so impressed by the depth of knowledge demonstrated by the students who attended RSM that she decided to join RSM herself. After just one month of teaching at RSM, she enrolled her own child in the math program. She brings her experiences as an RSM math teacher and as an RSM parent to her role as the Principal of RSM-Andover.
