Hey! So if you have a TI-83 or TI-84 calculator, you can enter in this program into the pgrm application and it will allow you to solve quadratic equations in in standard form equal to zero. All you have to do is enter in A value, B value, and C value in the final product and it will give you both x-intercepts.
so enter in pgrm:
: Disp "AX^2 + BX + C = 0"
: Prompt A,B,C
: B^2 - 4AC -> D
: Disp (-B + sqrt (D))/(2A)
: Disp (-B - sqrt (D))/(2A)
:Delvar A
:Delvar B
:Delvar C
:Delvar D

Hi there:
I am the mother of vivacious bright three year old, and I've been giving a lot of thought lately to what I can expect from our local schools on the coast of Oregon. Can anyone recomend some decent textbooks to supplement his instruction once he enters Kindergarten?
