RSM-MetroWest will hold its Spring Open House on Saturday May 4th at 2-6 pm at 5 Auburns Street, Framingham.  Visit our school, meet our staff, and learn about our K-12 math program and supplementary offerings in Chess, Robotics and English. AMC-8 2012 Award Winners

Being still a 6th-grader at RSM makes one capable to compete with 8th-graders internationally in AMC-8 Competition.Just look at those 6th-graders!  Most of them have been with RSM for 2-3 years.

New Camps This Summer

To help students entering High School meet academic challenges, RSM San Jose offers two Summer Camps:

  1. Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 - 2:30 come and learn High School Geometry and strengthen your Algebra skills.
  2. Monday and Wednesday 9:30 - 2:30 come and learn Algebra II with Trigonometry to get yourself a head start for the Fall.

Students will have a 30-min lunch break (lunch is not provided). RSM San Jose is conveniently located on a shopping plaza with a wide choice of dinning places.

April Vacations Math and English SAT Preparation Workshops

Check out our April vacations Math and English SAT workshops at www.metrowestschool.com. The workshops will be open to all high school students, as well as to qualified 7th & 8th graders who are hoping to qualify for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth program. Both workshops will be dedicated to timed SAT practice tests, test taking strategies, and analysis of common mistakes. More details at www.metrowestschool.com.

What started with a Newton mother’s dogged determination to improve her son’s math education 16 years ago has expanded into a nationwide after-school program that has drawn thousands of students to its unique methods for mastering an often unpopular subject.

The school has the data to support their model. Eleventh-grade Russian School students average 774 out of a possible 800 on the math portion of the SAT exam.

Spring Robotics Class Registration is Open

 Registration is now open for Robotics classes with Dr. Dong Jia.   Robotics will be offered in two sessions, Lego NXT I for beginners and Lego NXT II for children with prior experience. These will be held on Sunday afternoons, and will run for six weeks, on the following dates: March 17, 24; April 7, 14, 21, & 28.   The cost is $228 for the NXT I class and $276 for the NXT II class.  More information at www.metrowestschool.com/robotics.html.  New students can enroll via the ENROLL button at  www.metrowestschool.com.
