RSM Olympiad 2015

RSM Olympiad 2015

Mathematical Olympiads are competitions that combine the beauty of mathematics with the joy of problem solving. Many countries have their own Olympiads that include a series of competitions leading up to a national mathematical Olympiad for which only a fraction of students are selected to participate.

In keeping with the rich tradition and prestige surrounding Olympiad competitions, RSM held its first-annual mathematical Olympiad in 2014. Nearly 2,000 students participated in this event! The RSM Olympiad was designed by a team of math professionals in the spirit of traditional international math competitions. It features challenging non-routine problems that promote a deeper level of thinking. Open to novice and veteran competitors in Grades 2 through 9, the competition offers participants a chance to demonstrate their mathematical ingenuity and creative problem solving abilities.
