About RSM-Marblehead:

RSM-Marblehead first opened its doors to the seaside community of Marblehead in 2009.  As a branch of the Russian School of Mathematics we use a well-structured teaching strategy to ensure that our K-12 students build a solid foundation in math and cultivate lifelong critical-thinking skills.

Today the school serves the families of nearly 200 students from the North Shore communities of Marblehead, Swampscott, Lynnfield, Salem, Lynn, Peabody, Medway, Beverly, Danvers, Saugus, Wakefield, Nahant and Reading.

We have been voted Best Tutoring in Marblehead as a result of our successful classroom-style math enrichment program.

About the Principal

Lena Liholipa, Principal

Lena Liholipa

Education: M.S., Education, Mathematics and Physics, University of Latvia

Lena Liholipa knew from a young age that she wanted to become a teacher. Her love for children meant that she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to education and became an education professional. She has 15 years of experience teaching math in public schools to middle and high school students in her home country.

She immigrated to the U.S. from Latvia and was head-hunted by the founder of RSM, where Lena has been an integral part of the organization since 2006. In 2008 she became a Lead Teacher responsible for new teacher training at the school. In addition to serving as the Principal of RSM-Marblehead, Lena continues to teach at RSM headquarters in Newton. With the recent arrival of a new baby boy, her life has become a bit busier but much more joyful!
