About RSM-San Diego:

At the Russian School of Mathematics, RSM-San Diego branch, we believe that a quality mathematics education is one of the most powerful tools you can provide a child. We view the widespread aversion to math in our culture and schools as a major problem. Our mission (especially at the elementary level) is to create a counter culture that embraces math as both exciting and useful. RSM's San Diego math programs are not only designed for students who intend to study math in college. They are made to help widen opportunities in all fields by enhancing logic and critical thinking skills, developing math-specific abilities, and fostering a deep appreciation for the subject.

RSM-San Diego serves San Diego and the surrounding areas of: Sabre Springs, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, Scripps Ranch, Carmel Valley, 4s Ranch, Del Sur, Del Mar, Mira Mesa, Poway. The best way to see if RSM is right for you and your child is to come in for a personalized evaluation where your child's math knowledge will be assessed and discussed with you. You can schedule a free math evaluation here.

About the Principal

Dimitry Artamonov, Principal

Dimitry Artamonov

Education: M.A. University of San Francisco Business Management

Dimitry, or Mr. A, as his students affectionately call him, has taught and trained for several years at RSM’s campuses in Silicon Valley - one of of the largest and fastest growing regions of RSM. He first started work at RSM-San Mateo, where he has been the Vice Principal for the last three years. He has also taught advanced and honors mathematics classes during his time there.

In his teaching style, he enjoys challenging children with new thought processes, focusing on how he can change how young minds think about the problems. He believes education is about sharing knowledge in an exciting way. That passion and enthusiasm can be seen in all of his classes.

Dimitry is returning to his hometown of San Diego to lead our newest campus.
